Submitting Approvals

 

Allocadia’s Approvals feature allows organizations to centralize their fund request system, making requesting funds quick and easy. Rather than managing fund requests in meetings or through email, marketers can plan their Marketing Activities and submit their fund requests with a push of a button. Centralizing budgeting, scenario planning, fund requests, approvals, and financials in one area improves efficiency and accuracy. 

Submitting Fund Requests

  1. On the Activities tab, hover over the orange bar in line with your desired marketing activity
    Best Practice: Ensure that all entries on the Details Panel are complete. The Details Panel will be locked upon submission of the request.
  2. Click the orange bar and select Send for Approval from the drop-down list
    Tip: Alternately you can submit the request by right-clicking in the cell and choosing Send for Approval from the drop-down list. Approval request history will be displayed at the bottom of the Approval Request Menu.
    Note: If your organization uses the Line Item Workflow form, multiple values can be submitted for request simultaneously.

Resubmitting a Request

Denied requests are taken back to the planning status. This enables Marketers to make any necessary adjustments and resubmit if appropriate.

  1. On the Activities tab, click the red Denied bar in line with your desired marketing activity
  2. Select Take Back to Planning from the Approval Request drop-down list
  3. Adjust your value as needed after the status changes back to planning
  4. Click the orange bar and select Send for Approval from the drop-down list
