Creating Relationships Between Objectives

High-level business Objectives are broken down into departmental and team goals to assess how each group can directly contribute to the business. Strategic Planner allows you to create relationships across Objectives between columns. This creates visibility into how goals are linked across the organization and can help contribute to the successful alignment of each group's programs.

1. On the Strategy tab, click the link icon in your desired Objective Card
2. In Connections mode, click on related Objective to create relationships as needed
   Note: Existing links are denoted by the link icon in the corner of each card. The left number indicates the number of parent Objectives, while the right number indicates the number of child Objectives.
   Keep in Mind: Relationships can be made between Corporate and Marketing Objectives, and Marketing to Team Objectives, but cannot be created between Corporate and Team Objectives.
