Allocadia’s password expiration policy enables organizations to define how often users are required to update their password. Requiring users to reset their password on a regular cadence decreases the potential for unwanted visitors to access their account and any of their sensitive data.
Best Practice: There is an option to toggle the password expiry off so that your users’ passwords never expire, but for security purposes we recommend you leave it on.
- Click into your name's drop down menu at the top right of the screen and select the Organization Settings.
- Select Security in the drop-down menu to navigate to the Security page
- On the Security page, click on the Password Expiry Period (Days) metric box and enter your desired range
Note: Allocadia defines the expiration period as 180 days by default. However, your organization might have a defined password reset cadence. Inputting “0” will prompt your organization to require a password change with every login.
