Allocadia’s password expiration policy enables organizations to define how often users are required to update their password. Requiring users to reset their password on a regular cadence decreases the potential for unwanted visitors to access their account and any of their sensitive data.

Best Practice: Best Practice Alert: There is an option to toggle the password expiry off so that your users’ passwords never expire, but for security purposes we recommend that you leave it on.
  1. Click the Settings button next to your name at the top of the screen
  2. Select Security in the drop-down menu to navigate to the Security page
  3. On the Security page, click into the Password Expiry Period (Days) metric box and enter your desired range
Note: Allocadia defines the expiration period as 180 days by default, however your organization might have a defined password reset cadence. Inputting “0” will prompt your organization to require a password change with every login.
